Aberystwyth is a popular holiday destination with Easter being one of the main seasons (weather permitting). It is therefore advisable to book accommodation in good time before the conference.
There is a wide range of accommodation options, including affordable options along the seafront. Popular booking sites such as https://www.booking.com and https://www.airbnb.co.uk provide an excellent overview, but some hotels offer better rates through their own websites. Aberystwyth University Bunkhouse
45 rooms have been reserved tentatively for Evostar participants in the University’s on-campus guest accommodation, only a 5-min walk from the conference venue: https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/visitors/bunkhouse/
The rooms can be booked for dates between 2-6 April directly via the University website using the dedicated reservation code Evostar2024. Special requests, e.g., accessibility requirements, flat allocation, can be entered into a free-text field when booking, and will be accommodated whenever possible.
– Price: £37.50 per night, standard rate (without breakfast)
– Breakfast: Available for purchase in the food hall from Wednesday to Friday, e.g., Hot counter `build-your-own-breakfast’ starting from £4.30 (5 items), plus drinks, cereal, toast, porridge etc. Please note that the food hall is closed on Saturday.
