The most convenient airport to get to Aberystwyth is Birmingham International. There is a regular direct train connection from the airport (3h 15min). Tickets can be purchased at the train station at the airport or in advance online.
Other options include Manchester (approx 4h 30min by train), London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted or Luton (approx 6h by train or coach), Cardiff (approx 5h 30min by train; 4h 30min by bus), Bristol (5h 30min – 6h 30min by train), and Liverpool (5-6 hours by train). The University bunkhouse/campus can be reached on foot in 25 minute. A taxi stand is situated next to the train station.
